The 3 health minimums

Where do I start??

That question can be so overwhelming that we just don’t start at all. Or, we make attempts at new habits that aren’t right for us. Either scenario more than likely doesn’t end well.  

Let’s simplify this for you. There are three habits every human body needs, no matter what. If you currently own a human body, this lesson is for you. So, unless you have recently transplanted your head onto a robot, ask yourself these three questions:

1. Do I drink half my body weight in ounces of water each day?

2. Do I get adequate protein in each of my 3-4 meals a day (around 20 grams each meal for females and 30 or so for men)? 

3. Do I sleep around 7.5 hours each night? 

If the answer is “no” to any of these, you know where to start. Did you answer no to all three? Don’t panic. Set a goal to progressively work on these over time. 

Is this everything? No. We haven’t mentioned vegetables or activity or a handful of other things. But these three are your minimums to focus on to start. If you wan’t nothing more than to feel better, more energy, and just be in a good mood. Start here. Any other goal? Start here. These three will open the gateway to adding in the next level of healthy habits.
